When using the managed print system, you may be prompted to enter a passcode at the printer. This typically happens after receiving a new or replacement physical ID card.

### Understanding Your Passcode

- The passcode is a unique six-digit code assigned by the printing system.
- It is **not** your Seton Hall username, password, or SHU ID number.

### **Reset Your Passcode**

#### **For Windows Users:**

1. Left-click the Pharos Sentry Print icon in the system tray (near the clock).
2. In the upper-right corner of the Document Management view, select the three dots menu and choose **Reset Passcode**.
3. On the Welcome to Pharos Sentry Print screen, click** Login to continue**.
4. When prompted, log in with your PirateNet credentials.
5. Once successfully logged in, a new six-digit passcode will be generated.
6. Use this updated passcode to log into the printer.

*Save this passcode in a secure location in case you receive a new ID card in the future. You will also receive an email from Beacon Admin **[no-reply@beacon.pharos.com](mailto:no-reply@beacon.pharos.com)** (or a similar address) with a copy of the passcode for your records.*
