If you accidentally delete a course item, file, or module in Canvas, there’s no “undo” button, but you can still recover your content by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the **Home **page of the course where the content was deleted.
2. In the address bar, add `/undelete` at the end of the course URL and press **Enter**.   
For example, if your course URL is `https://canvas.setonhall.edu/courses/12345`, it should now read `https://canvas.setonhall.edu/courses/12345/undelete`.
  
3. The **Restore Deleted Items** page will appear, showing a list of recently deleted items that can be restored. Locate the item you wish to recover and click the **Restore **button next to it.
  
4. Once restored, the item should reappear in its original location within the course.

> ⚠️ The restore function may not always recover every deleted item (such as quizzes, announcements, assignments, discussions, or specific files). Some items might not be available for restoration.
