To improve security and prevent unauthorized access to MS Teams meetings hosted by Seton Hall University, a new verification process has been introduced. External users invited to a meeting must complete a CAPTCHA verification before joining. Watch this video tutorial or follow the steps below to join a MS Teams meeting as an external user.


### How to Join a MS Teams Meeting as an External User:

1. Click the **Join the meeting now** link in your email invitation.
2. Follow the prompts to join the meeting, including enabling audio and video.
3. Enter your name and select **Join now.**
4. A CAPTCHA verification screen will appear.
  - You will be prompted to enter the randomly generated alphanumeric characters displayed on the screen.
  - If preferred, you can select **Verify with audio instead** to hear the characters and **Type what you hear** in the provided box.
5. Once you have entered the verification characters, click **Submit** to complete the process and join the meeting.
