Turnitin is a third-party tool integrated into Canvas Assignments that generates **Similarity Reports** to help instructors identify content in student writing that may come from other sources. Turnitin also supports instructor feedback by providing tools for in-text comments and annotations. Instructors can use it to check grammar, spelling, and originality, helping to reduce unoriginal content and foster more confident writing.
