Add customizable text or image watermarks to PDFs using Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint. You can control the watermark’s formatting, position, transparency, and rotation. Watermarks will appear in other PDF tools but cannot be edited or removed outside of OneDrive or SharePoint.

> ℹ️ Note: Watermarks modify the PDF file and are permanent unless removed within OneDrive or SharePoint. They cannot be edited or removed using third-party PDF tools.

### **Add a Text Watermark to a PDF**

1. Open a PDF stored in OneDrive or SharePoint.
2. Select *Edit *in the top right.
3. Click *Watermark *from the top menu.
4. Enter your text and customize the:
  - Font style (bold, italic)
  - Color, size, transparency, and rotation
  - Choose the position (top/middle/bottom + left/center/right).
  - Preview the changes, then click *Apply *to save.

### **Add an Image Watermark to a PDF**

1. Open the PDF and select *Edit*, then Watermark.
2. In the Watermark menu, choose *Picture*.
3. Upload or select an image to use as your watermark.
4. Adjust the scale, transparency, and rotation.
5. Choose the position (top/middle/bottom + left/center/right).
6. Preview the watermark, then click *Apply*.

### **Remove a Watermark**

1. Select Watermark from the top menu.
2. Click the watermark you want to remove.
3. Click the *Remove *button at the bottom of the screen.
